Founded in 2025 · by three students
Sparked by a Shared Passion for Robotics
In the fall of 2025, Shih-Chi, Tai-Ling, and Chang-Lung crossed paths through their shared love of robotics. Seeing fellow students on campus pouring themselves into their own projects, they asked themselves: what if there were a place where everyone could come together — to build, to learn, and to grow? That question is what led them to found the CTUST Robotics Research Club.
The idea quickly turned into action. At the October club fair, the newly formed club made its debut — drawing nearly thirty new members to sign up. The first workshop followed soon after. There were bumps along the way: technical hiccups, curriculum tweaks, and plenty of on-the-fly adjustments. But the three founders believed those rough edges were all part of the process. Each setback helped them find the teaching style and club culture that felt right.
Today, the club is no longer just three people's dream — it's a learning community of dozens of passionate members. We still carry the same founding spirit: that every hands-on session and every moment of shared discovery is what makes this club worth building. We look forward to exploring this journey alongside you — from parts to machine, one step at a time.
